Meet the Teacher

Mrs. Amy Chudy

Hello I am Mrs. Chudy and I will be teaching 2nd-6th Grade Inspire, Gifted & Talented Program, at Pearman Elementary for the 2022-2023 school year. 

This is currently my 11th year of teaching.  My husband and I have 3 children! Emma, Mack & Wen. 

Cleveland is my hometown; born, raised and educated. I graduated from Cleveland High School and then went to MS Delta Community College. After two years at MDCC, I came back to Cleveland to Delta State and got my Degree in Fine Arts. I then went right into getting my Masters Degree and received my Master of Fine Arts in Teaching/Art Education. I taught art for two years and then went back to school yet again, this time at Ole Miss, and received my Gifted Education Certification! I am a National Board Certified Teacher and also a Certified Yoga and SEL Facilitator. 

I love spending time with my family and traveling. I’m an artist at heart, and love creating things in multiple forms and mediums.
